People with an * behind their names haven't posted in this thread since the brackets were posted.
Since I've never run this training camp/preseason event before it's a bit of a work in progress. In the spirit of keeping things moving along and having a fun event where everyone gets to play I've decided that unresponsive players are in danger of being eliminated and replaced, to the extent possible, by a standby player as we head into round two of the first set. Standby players will be placed in the losers position on the side of the bracket occupied by the player they are replacing and have a chance at fighting for the consolation position. Furthermore, they will take the place of the player they replaced on the regular roster headed into the next set (to begin Sunday, October 25).
Players eliminated in this fashion will still be able to participate in the next set beginning Sunday, October 25 by stating their intentions in this thread, but, based on numbers may be treated as standby players.
I don't like changing or adding rules mid stream during an event but like I said, this one's a bit of a work in progress and since it's meant for fun and practice I want to keep as many people playing as possible which means quick removal of the dead wood.
