I figured I should go where the experts haunt...
I'm looking, specifically, for solid numbers and types of aircraft used by each side in the Southern Sector (Stalingrad Oblast and vicinity) from early summer 42 to late winter 43.
Also, I'd like some solid information proving or disproving the existence of FW-190s in that sector during that time... especially if they were in service supporting the battle for Stalingrad itself.
(I've done quite a bit of searching online (i.e. , and am looking more for a/(some) book(s) to purchase that definitively state aircraft numbers (bonus for info about the 190), but if you find something online that'd be great as well!)
