90 feet of water shouldn't be a problem as long as they find someone willing to pay for it. Hope they recover it; is a very rare bird.

It doesn't really say, but could it be a war grave?
There must also be a flyable computer available for Nefarious to do FSO. So he doesn't keep talking about it for eight and a half hours on Friday night!

Hell, if it were my grave, I'd say.. "Raise it!"

I wonder if there's a live bomb under it.

no mention of the pilots?

Looks like the engine and the vert stab fell off in the crash, or did it fall off due to corrosion later?

The tail gun is also missing. I wonder if it was looted already.

Yup, wonder if the crew dumped the tailgun to try and make it further. The canopies also missing, so maybe they bailed.

The below pics are of the remains of a Stuka that was brought out of the sea.  There is a request by the museum for details pertaining to the AC (dates, squadron, etc..).

I don't know if it can be stowed like the 110. The engine is probably at the original ditch point. This final position is closer to the coast than the original ditch point, as you can see portions of the tail and wing have folded under the aircraft.
