I honestly believe this is coming into the game sooner than later..

It was such a big part of the war, I do think it should be near the top of the list.

Although giving players a choice, it would only be used in very limited numbers in the MA after the standard initial craze. Just like supps & troops are generally brought by a M-3 and not a SdKfz.

Which doesn't mean I would not like to have it, just pointing it out.

I hope we get one of the Junkers Ju 52/3m military versions.

3 - MG15, 1 dorsal, 2 in side windows. And it could carry light bomb loads. But, you probably would get the choice of 10 troops or tiny bombs and no gunner join. HiTech would force you to put it on auto level and plink away by yourself.

So instead of the old joke with C47 where the troops are called in and the player kicks out GV supplies. Now you would have a Ju 52 where the player goofs and bombs the town.

Still I don't know which is worse. Newbie lets the troops go down the center of the deacked feild's runway, or newbie kicks out GV supplies over the white flag deacked town? And in both cases it was the ONLY C47 in 2 sectors and the field was about to pop.

Can you see the silly fun mission where a hoard of Ju52 with tiny bombs pops from NOE at a Vbase with Storch and Ju87 escorts?

Back in my horde-ing days, even when we were doing a mass tank assault on a field or strat most people would want to take the M3 over the 251, even though a 251 is fast enough to keep up with the tanks and offers a lot better protection than an M3. 

Nevermind the fact that a halftrack has no business being in front of the tanks in the first place.

iI wouldn't. For any fighter piöot but the newest of the n00bs a limited traversable 7.92mm MG on a plane even slower than a goon won't be any deterrent. You swoop down, one pass, Ju dead. See how the He 111 is still just a victim with even more 7.92mm single MGs.
In capturing bases, bringing troops is all about speed and stealth. That's exactly why the M-3 is being chosen over the much sturdier SdKfz... not because of it's better gun, because it's faster - and thus much better able to make use of the limited window of opportunity.

There's no way a troops transporter will be mor epopular when slower and as easy to shoot down.

They aren't stupid, but smart.

Because most captures don't work like that. It's usually "town AXX is (almost) ready, need troops" and then the M3 race is on. The SdKfz has bad cards here. Especially as it's still just a victim to planes & tanks, even with it's better protection.

iI's all about getting to maproom before someone can shoot you, because if he can, you are as good as dead anyway.

Enjoy your gun.  Most people would choose to take the 60mph faster C-47.   They are both dead if a Typhoon or La-7 finds them, but the time window for the C-47 to be found is smaller.
