It Was the Only Option Left
« on: November 09, 2014, 12:43:18 PM »
Thought some might find this silly.  Sorry no film.  Plenty of witnesses though.

So I brought my P-40n over their base with 2 x 500lb.  There were several cons at co Alt (10k).  It was tricky but I weaved in between them and dropped a hanger.  That is when it got fun.  I was dodging an F4u and Seafire both 600 out or less.  They took out my forward fuel.  Then other parts.  Finally they managed to do enough damage to get me to be concerned.  They took out my engine.  So they are still 400-600 out.  I look down and there is their CV.  I am dead stick so I figure....why not?

I pulled a hard right to dump whatever E I had left.  Dumped the flaps, threw the rudder to the side and landed safely on the deck...of THEIR CV!!!

The planes on my 6 overshot.  I did an end mission immediately.  Showed I was killed by someone (maybe a gunner I dont know).

This was my silliest moment yet in AH!  :rock

New Achievement!
... missions were to be met by the commitment of alerted swarms of fighters, composed of Me 109's and Fw 190's, that were strategically based to protect industrial installations. The inferior capabilities of these fighters against the Mosquitoes made this a hopeless and uneconomical effort. 1.JD KTB
