Configuration of aircraft for speed/climb charts
« on: November 17, 2014, 02:10:35 PM »
Does anyone know what the fuel load is for the performance charts on the AH website. I ask because I was trying the K4 at 15K full military power maybe 3/4 to 7/8 of a tank and getting something like 392 TAS vs the 408ish that the speed chart lists.
Pies not kicks.

When you look at the charts in the hanger it shows the weight. You can compare that to the load weights also shown in the hanger.

The speed charts show the K4 at less than 400 MPH at 15K.

Wind does not affect TAS, perhaps you're thinking of ground speed.
