do u share the same feeling?
« on: June 24, 2000, 07:49:00 PM »
I have the feeling that whatever the plane you fly, u need to put more hits to do a critical damage. As far as i'm concerned, I love it because it makes dogfighting longer then more interesting. I recall when flying the Niki, 1 ping on the wing tip at less than 300y and ciao here goes the wing, i got a lot of kills with those lucky shots, now it's a different story and I like that, how about you guys?

Oh...and... hummm... the current P47 paint job is very well done but I strongly wish we could have an another one, someone know what is the proper way to beg HTC for it? Oh and, Am I the only one wishing to see an another paint job on this wonderfull gift that HTC provided to us?

I've had the same thought, the .50s seem a bit toned down, though I won't swear to it.

I wont swear to it either... but my impression is that lethality has been toned down.

I don't know Nash,

Seems both times you hit me with the 20mm from your a5 my plane fell apart fairly quickly

And both times I got you, my Lightning was out of cannon and only had .50 left

I wonder if armor has been re-done in some manner.  I've noticed that any armor still seems to be effective, though snapshots perpendicular to the surface from 4 hispanos still does the trick.

The tanks are the biggy for me.  Downing one with an F4u-1C is quite a chore.  I've also noticed that I can take front aspect hits from a .50 all day, but not perpendicular.

Just seems like there is some kind of deflection being modeled.

I'm sure something has changed.

Yup, I like the paint the way it is on the 47. I think it's way cool. I think invasion stripes would add to it, but it doesn't really need them.

Camo, only on a Razorback if we get one.

A Testimonial.

Before 1.03 R 3 I flew all the airplane, and my K/D was something like .15/1.

Since I found the Jug I am like 1.25/1!

I have found that if you get less that 100 yards behind a FW-190A5 and hit him solid with all eight .50's he blows up real good!

I am liking the Jug very much thank you!
