Anyone got x55
« on: December 31, 2014, 09:00:51 PM »
New stick.  X55
New pedals. Saitek pro flight

Tips and learn to fight in p38J.  Please PM.  I want help.

=easy kills

For approx 8 weeks till I uncross my legs.

As a kid we all built go-carts out of wood and pram wheels.  A plank of wood at the front
pivoted with a bolt and the front axle fixed by bent nails and strings.
Push right foot and pull with left arm to turn left.

Is it just me!

You're correct. That is the procedure for turning a cart.  :D

Airplanes work differently. Your foot doesn't push the propeller, it pulls the rudder.

To turn left move the stick left and slightly back. Push the left pedal as you move the stick left.
As you return the stick to near center the left pedal should also return to near center.

Check the ball to see that it's centered,  if it's off to one side you are slipping or skidding, correct with the pedals.

Watch the horizon to maintain attitude awareness in turns. Attitude is your aircraft's orientation relative to gravity.

Easy way to remember is the phrase "step on the ball". If the ball is on the left, step on the left; if the ball is on the right, step on the right.

Lucky for you though, you picked the one plane that needs the least rudder.
