Offline air start
« on: December 20, 2014, 05:24:33 AM »
I think there's a way to do this? Trying to do some high-level testing stuff without having to drag my posterior up there from ground level.

Grateful for any advice.

Change your terrain to the training arena map and use the air starts on that one.

Is that the AHTA08.EXE one?

Cheers in any case.

I believe it is. Go to the 30k field (A3, IIRC)... A few of the runways air start at 30k. If you select to take off east, it should air start you over bombing targets. South starts you over the active training field.

Cheers, yes, got that to work, though I had to change A3 from (I think) nit to bish, to turn it green, even though I'm rook online.

Getting some interesting and unexpected results, though replicating the results online will involve getting my 410 up to 30k, which took the better part of 90 minutes last time...
