<S> to the Ki84 I fought yesterday
« on: December 26, 2014, 08:46:58 AM »
I rarely do this but this one was fun and I just dont remember who you were.

Furball. I first tried to pick you and you evaded and I missed. then we got into a bit of a vertical knife fight the vertical fight continued for a while to my amazement without anyone on either side jumping in. I missed on a rope opportunity.  You dove out and moved away just as some other guys from my side started moving in. then you came back and tried to pick me. Another vertical knife fight ensued Eventually I ran out of E to continue and had to dive out and create some separation. One from my side came in and caused you to break off. I turned to follow you but it looked like you were RTB so I turned my attention to someone else. A few moments later you came back and got the pick on me.

No complaints about the pick. There was a furball going on and that could have went either way. And I would have done the same to you. But it was a rather fun example of the game within the game the fight within the fight as it were.

Was a heck of a lot of fun though

Its always fun when something like that happens, was hunting buff's yesterday in a 190 A5 - ran into a fella called Hooker, one buff was already dead, so I killed on, was repositioning for a shot on the last, when he swung into me and proceeded to fly it like a fighter - was laughing like a loon, big cheesy grin on my face, eventually ran outta gas, and made it home on fumes. Excellent fun, entirely unexpected and funny as anything.

Also ran into TomG in a F6F while flying a Spit V, fun fight down low, which was ended by someone shooting him for me, but again, excellent fun down in the grass.

Good Post Dred, sometimes it gets forgotten we're actually flying for fun, and death in game isnt a real thing.

There are only 6 guys that have shot you down in a KI so far this month, should be easy remembering if you check them out.

As for the post, it's the only reason I still fly! Normally I get to fly about 6 hours strait on a Saturday and if I get two or three fights like this I'm a happy player. It easily off sets all the others that HO, gang, or just flat out run away.

If it was one of your more recent deaths, you can click on your score in the roster and see your last few (10?) killers listed from most recent back.

Nope, I can't see how it would apply to you in any form.
