Me and Two friends were working on a 30 year war mod (that would focus on a segment of the 100 years war). Got about 1/2 done before they had to give up on it.  :cry  I was able to go a little further but had to stop due to not knowing anything of the coading/ computer couldn't handle any of the software to make new armor/ weapons.  It is something I plan on finishing when I get my new rig.

Other mods I played were Prophesy of Pendor, Brytenwalda and the 1886 mod too.  I read on the new game Bannerlord II, that they will have many of the Diplomacy Mod's features in it. (Like having the ability to switch fiefs with some of the other vassals of a kingdom, better negotiations and more room to act when ruling a kingdom or being a lord over a fief).  I am really looking forward to it, and I am hoping that the system will be just as easy to mod.

The mods I've used easily added 800+ hours of gameplay, I've only played 10 hours or so multiplayer.   Very very fun indeed.
LOL on eof the very first multiplayer game I played I hopped on a horse with a lance, right of the bat I see a friendly duking it out with some guy, so I go charging in  as Im bearing down all crouched over the lance I completely miss the bad guy and skewer my friendly , lol oh man what a ball buster I was so hyped to kill some enemy with a crushing ca;vary charge and what happens I kill the SH^% out of a friendly  :O

:lol

Well, what aggravated me where two things.

#1  Had trouble connecting to any server.
#2 Those that I did connect with had the usual melee combatants. 2 handed swords jump spinning to get kills, made it very difficult in castle/tight maps.  Was a very good archer though.. still aim.  :)
If we have something to show we will & do post shots, if we have nothing new to show we don't.

Been looking at the Schwert und Speer mod for MTW2Kingdoms, anyone familiar? Will let you know if I get it to work and how it is, looks its like modders have gone inactive

in the process of clean install, dl, unpack...

Looks like Alpha is here.

I'm not going to pledge 45$ (yet/might) for access but if anyone does let me know. I've been watching and drooling for a game that promises this much in this genre; we'll see if they actually deliver.

I have it, and it's more just a tech demo than anything else, but I'm very impressed so far.
Ron White says you can't fix stupid. I beg to differ. Stupid will usually sort itself out, it's just a matter of making sure you're not close enough to become collateral damage.

I've watched some of the alpha footage on demonstrating sword and bow combat. I definitely like the approach they're going with it. I'm excited to see what the product looks like at release.

Yeah, this has been the exact sort of game I've been waiting to see for YEARS. No stupid spike-hilted swords with paddles for blades. No over the top spinning twirling Wire Fu sword dancing. No spikey shoulders of doom and other ridiculous armor designs. Just modeling of equipment and combat that's actually REAL.

Saxman:

have you seen this game? What do you think? Sounds similar with a civilization sorta twist to it. Prolly more civ than combat in comparison.

Yeah, I've seen it. Haven't read anything that's gotten me interested trying it out.
