Ink, did you make those shanks in prison?

sorry I got out of prison..like 23 years ago ;)

Nice kukri! Does it split wood well?

I have an old set of leaf springs next to my barn I'll do this with. The helper leaves are straight, and would work well for this.

How long did it take to build it?

i haven't tested it too much yet, took 1 swing and it sunk in a good inch.....

you can straighten out the curved leafs, just take a good sized hammer and pound that sucker flat....

it took 4 days cutting it out....another 2 days of beveling the edge, and 1 on the sheath.

power tools would have allowed it to be done in 1 day.

A quick picture I shot of my youngest son while we were waiting for a table at a restaurant. I just love this picture so much.

Thank you.  Our two girls are show dogs.  Summer (the solo shot), just finished her championship.  I've always loved this breed.

And we certainly have enough snow for them to feel at home in it this year.

Here you go HG.  Next time, just hit the IMG link once and paste it in the forum.  Nice looking boys. :aok

We sure do Fugi.  Too much to sled though.  Takes me forever to break a trail in snow shoes.

That is a nice wooddonut Silver! :rofl
