TWO Ammo Bunkers on the CV
« on: January 05, 2015, 08:39:34 PM »
When the TWO ammo bunkers are hit, Ords will be down for 30 minutes just like the small air fields. They stay down longer if the ammo factory strats have been hit. This will level the playing field when a cv is attacking an air field. This forces both sides to defend their ords and add strategy to the deployment of a Carrier Group as well.

If ammo gets hit on the cv there shouldn't be anything left of it.

With a certain amount of damage the planes do not have access to the loading of bombs. It amounts to the same thing as when ords are dropped at a small field.

Yanno what happens when the ammo is destroyed onboard a ship, Right?

It goes BOOM. Like the Arizona

What you want is an ammunition ship. During WWII these were most commonly converted merchant C2 Cargo ships

SS Donald McKay

Or the USS Mount Hood

And this is what the Mount Hood looked like when it exploded

"The Burke was destroyed in seconds with the loss of every single man on board"

Actually you forget the newsreels.
Notice the commentator mentions the cameraman. Why would he mention the cameraman not knowing where to point his camera and just missing the impact of the kamikaze if it were a radio broadcast?
