Joystick Calibration
« on: February 02, 2015, 01:31:26 PM »
Calibrating joystick, put it on advanced y axis but actually move joystick
left and right along x axis. The bars move about 20 to 25 % of center.
So if I am rolling also pulling pitch causing a lot of stall horn warnings.(I think??)
Any way to fix with software? Think need new pots needed?

Its a Tmaster hotas warthog.

I miss my combo CH tmaster franken stick I made for AW oh
so many moons ago.

Thanks

The Warthog has a single Hall sensor. It doesn't spike. I think your problem is physical wear and tear.

The first thing that usually goes on the Warthog is a replaceable plastic washer. The clue for that is it doesn't return to the exact center.

The Warthog driver includes deadband separate from the AH deadband settings so that may initially mask a sloppy center but the problem you describe sounds more severe.
