Greetings ladies and gents,
Not sure if this is the right thread, but I am seeking a techno-savvy individual who can help me set up my video systems (if possible/compatible). I have long since been passed by with all the improvements in this tech sector. Perhaps a generous person who can spend some offline time to helping me sort my graphics cards, and some three external monitor type LED touch screen devices that can be set up to display separate gauges and other data for FSX and Falcon BMS 4.32 and possibly DCS eventually.

Please understand I will be very much handicapped in my knowledge base and the most simplest of tasks will take some time for me to digest and understand. If you feel up to the challenge and have the time, please let me know. I can pass on phone number etc... to be helped/walked through step by step. Thanks should anyone feel this generous of their time. I will make every attempt to provide some form of compensation, though as a disabled vet, they may be limited, though this makes my time very flexible. Perhaps a month or two of your monthly AHII costs, or a trade in some flight sim gear I have that is not being used anymore. Thanks.

Regards,
Hobo

First question would be, how much are you budgeting for this? That would give the various options available to the task.

Are you looking to build a complete system (computer and monitors) or just upgrade an existing structure.

Also, are you able to build it yourself if you have the parts needed or do you need someone to build it, load software, and test run it.

If you can answer these questions I can get you to the next level.

Be careful what you shoot at. Most things
in here don't react too well to bullets.

The DCS forum has many qualified individuals who are more then willing to help you set up for that software. And they are a very good bunch over there.

More along the line of using what I have if it is not too far out of date or incompatible. I can post dxdiag with video card info and list the monitors I already have. I haven't done so cause I didn't mean to make a long thread so much as do it offline with one on one tutoring. If it's not up to the task, then this will be moved to next years to-do list. Have to move to NM this summer, so don't want to put out a bunch of money till that's all settled.

I will do everything, I just need help getting up to speed on how these things all fit together and how to set up the behind the screen stuff.

Didn't think about them having forums too. I should realize everyone probably has one huh? I did post a few on Falcon BMS a long time ago when I first found their downloads, but it seemed like a ghost town and never got any responses, pretty much the same with FSX. These are the most active forums I have seen, though, I admittedly haven't done much online gaming except when I was playing on here. Thanks.
