Any Soviet maps available for download?
« on: March 09, 2015, 08:47:55 PM »
Been wondering if there were/are any maps that can be used to make offline missions concerning the Soviet Union and the Luftwaffe forces. There was a Stalingrad map, but its only for the custom arenas online, so thats out. Would appreciate the help greatly :salute.

Are you asking for maps to use creating terrains or are you asking for terrains?

I thought all current terrains are available for use with staged missions. You say that Stalingrad is only for custom arena? I use custom arena to download terrains that are not up in an arena or on HTC front page download link and use them offline.
Do you have a current account?
If not, than no. Unless someone is willing to attach and send one.

The OP doesn't have an account yet I don't think. So he can't access the terrain files.

Asking for general terrains, not much of a terrain maker.

The OP doesn't have an account yet I don't think. So he can't access the terrain files.

I did set up an account, just haven't subscribed yet due to limited money caches trying to save up for the earliest possible convenience, if not, the summertime.

Here's the latest version of the Karelia-terrain: http://www.kanttorinkone.com/tiedostot/karelia.res

There are much custom stuff and also a lot of forestes so the frame rates are lower than in the other maps. I recommend that you make some adjustments from the "Options/Graphic Detail": Use "Default" settings. From the "Graphic Detail/Advanced": Uncheck "Bump Map My Plane" and "Bump Map Terrain" (the terrain looks then also better).
