I have often considered having an App built to help squad mates keep up. It would be a trivial matter to have an app that displays pertinent information about your squad and country. Items such as numbers in flight per country, % of bases per country, current ENY, even last known CV locations.....basically anything you want (or are willing to keep updated)
You could even design the app so that if the user stays logged in, he can receive alarms or special messages from squad leaders... Call to defend, pickup missions, Strat RAID, etc.
You are probably not going to get the data raw from HTC, so it will only work if you have squad members willing to populate at least a minimum set of info. So obviously it will work best with larger squads.
Even cooler is that once an app is developed it could be used by any squad, with no additional development costs.
I am going to check out prices on custom apps.
