They're still beautiful to me. To each their own...Ferrari's don't do it for me.

Not my favorite of all time; that would be the Cobra.

I remember the first Countach I saw, we were walking into the theater to see Top Gun. Off the top of my head, that would be (what) 1986?
They're casting their bait over there, see?

I always wanted a Countach but also always realized that would never happen.  Regardless of that it's funny I saw this thread because a couple of nights ago I was looking at the Car and Driver Top Cars by category list http://www.caranddriver.com/features/2015-editors-choice-for-best-cars-trucks-crossovers-suvs-and-hybrids.

In the sports car section I spotted this http://www.caranddriver.com/lamborghini/huracan

Overview:  Lamborghini’s new “entry-level” supercar, the Huracán, picks up where the exotic Gallardo left off. Its angular design manages to be both severe and elegant, and its stealth fighter–like cockpit is as luxurious as it is intense. Nestled behind the passengers is a 602-hp V-10 mated to a seven-speed dual-clutch automated gearbox (sorry, no manual transmission is offered) and all-wheel drive, helping Lambo’s new bull accelerate from 0–60 mph in just under three seconds, and a top speed of 202 mph.

0–60 mph in just under three seconds, and a top speed of 202 mph.  Only $240,245 or you can lease it for $3837/mo.
I edit a lot of my posts.  Get used to it.

I don't think some of you get it some cars, like all everyday products are created as a work of art
The countach being one of those ,it was never intended to be a daily or even a weekend ride
Supercars in general are made for the eye ,if you want a drivable car get a boring salloon or hatchback if you want to make a i've got a small man hose statement by all means get a lambo or a slightly quick overpriced poorly built Fiat (Ferrari)
Or you could be smart and for half the price get a r32 or gt86 ,or even a new corvette and actually enjoy driving it
Of course I'm right I'm British

Later Countach is pretty nice but LP400 is more to my taste.  :aok

Always wanted a Countach or Diablo.  Slightly out of my price range though.  I remember when I saw a Testarossa in real life for the first time, I thought at first it was a 4/5 scale model of the real car.  Couldn't get over how small it was.
