Have a spare $180K sitting around?
« on: March 05, 2015, 01:28:47 PM »
You could be the owner of a 2016 Porsche 911 GT3 RS.  Drool.  I wonder if they will give me a good trade in price for the Shelby??

My dream car.  Maybe I'll win the lottery one day or the kids will pay for their tuition...

My neighbor, an engineer for MB, invited me to go with him to Bern to attend the show this week.  He had a pass that gave me access to the cars and manufacturers starting last Tuesday but I couldn't justify the leave it would cost me.

Hellcat is a beast - no doubt.  But this car is a completely different class.  So is the maintenance costs :rofl :rofl

I don't think a Hellcat would stand a chance chasing this beast around a track.  I don't think even the mighty Hellcat would keep up in the 1/4 mile either

Maybe Justin Bieber will buy it and auger it into the side of a steep mountain at top speed.

I drove a ruf several years ago,my buddy was wrenching on it and we had to do a "test" drive before returning it to the owner!   I've had some experience going fast but that car was more car than I could handle.

Even the owner was afraid to let it all hang out,but he said he had never taken it to a track and that it was just to scary fast for the streets..... I agreed! :devil

It wasnt a CRT,just a run of the mill black Ruf.....
