The Upload Noseart button can be used by the squad CO to upload a 64x64 noseart graphic.  Graphics are not displayed in the game nor on the web page until they have been reviewed by the HTC staff.  The transparency color to use in order to make your noseart blend into the plane is {127, 127, 127}.  To upload a graphic, make sure your 64x64 bitmap file is named with your Game ID and is in your ../HTC/Aces High II/squads/ directory.  Next, click the Upload Noseart button.  Once the noseart is approved, your squad members may force the new image to download by deleting the existing noseart in their ../HTC/Aces High II/squads directory.

need a clarification on the transparency color is it 127 or 176? Skuzzy/HTC?

All of it is important; most of it vital; and all of it just too much for one brain to absorb in 1-2 lessons" TC

TC, when I did my squads nose art 2 months ago neither of those 2 were transparent. I read in another post some where that white would be transparent and it worked.

176, 176, 176 gray is what I used for Wings of Terror nose art and it is transparent in the game.

Cav my Dad was on the USS WASP...Of course he was on the 9th one. CV-18 1950 - 1954 during Korea.

Some History:

In naming LHD-1 "Wasp", the Navy honors nine previous ships, dating to the American Revolution, which have borne this illustrious name.

Previous U.S. Navy ships named Wasp include: a schooner (1775-1777), a sloop of war (1806-1813), another schooner (1810-1814), a tender sloop (1813-1814), a ship-rigged  sloop of war (1814), an iron-hulled side wheel steamer (1865-1876), a steam yacht (1898-1921), and the most famous of the nine, two aircraft carriers, CV-7 (1940-1942) and CV-18 (1943-1972).

The eighth Wasp was a 14,700 ton, 741-foot aircraft carrier that earned two battle stars during World War II. Wasp's sterling performance evoked British Prime Minister Winston Churchill's famous quote, "Who said a Wasp couldn't sting twice?"

After shifting to the Pacific theater of operations, CV-7 participated in a number of major engagements before being sunk during the Battle of Guadalcanal on September 15, 1942.

Following the loss of CV-7, CV-18, already under construction at the time, became the ninth Wasp. The ship earned eight battle stars for it's World War II service in the Pacific. After 29 years of gallant naval service, CV-18 was decommissioned in 1972

Whenever I try and Change my picture to the correct bitmap(8bits) it changes the RGB value from 176,176,176 to 160, 169,163.

The result its a big grey box on the plane ingame. The graphic still shows up but the box is pretty annoying. Suggestions?

Sorry for the Bump but I have'n lots of trouble with this.
