Spitfire serial number P9374, one of only two MK.I versions in flyable condition, is coming up for auction this Summer.

I can think of at least four MK I flying right now.   Beautiful bird that's for sure.

Well, they do say "...one of only two original Mk. 1 Spitfires to still be flying...", so I guess they're weaseling around the number with the word "original".   ;)

What does the RAF BoB Memorial Flight use for Spit Mk. Is?

Guess I should have checked Wikipedia: Memorial Flight oldest Spit is a IIa.

Beautiful, awesome aircraft, I remember it's first post restoration flight no to long ago. Wish I had won the lottery...

And it'll be rediculously cheap compared to some historical race cars on action too...
