No, the skins from the bloody nose Goering got his luft by letting them fly in swiss air space. Those saw action. You still have to get the book on the off chance it will tell you that the skin your drool is dribbling over is worth the wet keyboard.

Or do more internet drooling to delve deeper into the specific skin's operational history. Something like look up the squadron that skin came from and see if they got to beat up on Germans during the time frame of that skin as part of their defending swiss neutrality.

Which is probably in that book....... :O

But, hey, you obviously have an internet connection and some kind of browser.

Swiss aircraft were certainly scrambled to intercept a number of errant Mossies, force them to land. I've not read of them having actually fired on them though, in most cases the Mossies were already damaged / having some kind of issue in the first place, which caused them to seek safety in Swiss airspace. Two uniquely-coded Mossies on the same day in one case, both from the same squadron, both with the squadron code incorrect (P3 instead of 3P), with one of them being so new the individual letter hadn't been painted on yet.
... missions were to be met by the commitment of alerted swarms of fighters, composed of Me 109's and Fw 190's, that were strategically based to protect industrial installations. The inferior capabilities of these fighters against the Mosquitoes made this a hopeless and uneconomical effort. 1.JD KTB

There have been Swiss 109G skins before, why not now?

Swiss did let any damaged plane land in their country (many videos in youtube), but didnt let them go back, unlike their crews : it was pure neutrality.

There are at least two incidents in which the Swiss engaged Allied fighters.  On 9/5/44, two Swiss Bf 109Es escorting a damaged B-17 was bounced by a USAAF P-51D, shooting down one of the Swiss Bf 109s (killing Swiss pilot P.Treu) and heavily damaging the second one.  Another incident occurred 5 days later on 9/10 when two Swiss C.35 were engaged by a USAAF P-51D, resulting in one Swiss C.35s and the P-51D being damaged.
