Motorcycle with sidecar and machine gun
« on: April 21, 2015, 04:06:38 PM »

................down the road....whenever the new terrain is completed....<I know that's allot of work>............<fingers crossed> we could get a motorcycle.

It would be an absolute hoot. You can deliver that last troop to capture a field, 1 box of vehicle supplies could be taken to a gv in need,
or simply run around and kill M-3's, M-8's, and any low flying storches. I can see a bunch of motorcycles running around.

It can climb a 45 degree grade so it can sneak behind enemy lines   :) It can even go in reverse after hiding in some trees.

Here is an example of a 1942 Zundapp KS750 that has been restored and is for sale.

I think this one would become Crabby's new toy. And the fool he recruits to gun for him. Can't you just see him laying in wait in the town until the troops are released. Then Crabby and his foolish gunner roar in out of their hiding spot to gun down the troops before anyone figures out what's happening.

Consider if the Storch pilot could bail with a Machinepistole 38/40 and a few magazines. Or if Hitech was kind enough to introduce an allied spotting plane and that pilot bailed with a Thompson and a few magazines. Or a Pe2 and the pilot bails with a PPSh-41.......

The new Latrobe fun mission. 10 guys up spotting planes to bail over their own town to wait for the troops. Or bail near an enemy field to frag pilots just as their planes spawn from behind the rearm building.

I lost a DA duel years ago. "It was an anything goes duel." This was back when we could up from the same field and shoot each other down. So we spawn, then his plane explodes, then I'm in the tower. I spawned two more times before I caught on my opponent had bailed and was hiding behind the rearm shooting me in the cockpit. Used a 37mm to get him.

Will it come with the accessories as in guncrasher's picture ? I'll take two please.

Actually it would be good for defending map rooms when you need to there in a hurry in a small target.

Imagine if 5 bikes could capture a base?  If you exit your bike at an airfield, you and your gunner run to the map room.

Bustr you would gun for me and you know it! Think of the terror we would cause!

LOL that will just get killed so quickly...like for example the jeep.

You underestimate the jeep and what you can do with it. Is it survivable? Not really but anything fast with a gun is a threat and something that looks easy to kill can come back to haunt you if not careful.

Heck against a spawn camp I would get a even smaller runner to escape and hide with. Then still have firepower to track enemy tanks.
