This week in the AVA--Operation Nishi-Gawa
« on: May 02, 2015, 02:00:34 PM »
Operation Nishiki gawa

the Japanese are progressing well in the Solomons late
in the war. while the American/allied forces use all their might,
the Japanese still manage to hold them off. more modern aircraft are
being introduced by both sides and battle are furious to maintain
captured bases and keep possession of what both sides have managed
to capture.

this is a what if setup. not your classic setup.

Jaeger,

If I can drag VF-17 into the AvA this Monday night, you think you can get enough guys on the axis side to even us out?  I'm guessing we'll have 6-8 guys.  They don't like it when I up a N1K against them to balance things out :D

I'll try to be there, depending on time.

Can we do 3k? or even 2k? for Monday night.  Not sure how much support I can get much below FSO/scenario icon levels which we are used to.

Has 0K for realism ever been done in an FSO?

As it turned out, the standard AvA settings (no enemy icons) were in effect, and it didn't seem to affect the VF17 folks a bit.  Very fun fights tonight, even if my butt does hurt.  Would be nice to do this regularly.
