Wondering
« on: May 01, 2015, 08:18:58 AM »
:airplane: For about a month now, we Rooks have noticed this one player, somewhere in our country, sitting on the ground, either landing a aircraft or driving a GV somewhere about 1/2 way between two bases where it is not likely that he will be seen. Now, most of the Rooks have been notified about this player and last night, one our guys wanted to change countries and go bomb him. I said it wouldn't do any good, because he would just re-up somewhere else as fast as you killed him.
He has no score, as far a fighter kills or assists, all his rankings are in the 2 thousand area and you never notice him flying or GVing, but yesterday, he was moving CV around, placing them closer to shore batteries and etc!
Could this guy be a spy?
He pays his $14.95 a month like everybody else, so what can you do? Maybe he just likes to watch "game play" or just listen to the racket on 200, I don't know, but it makes me uneasy to know that someone who is not trying to help us play the game, could be passing on info which places us at a disadvantage in the game!
Blue Skies and wind at my back and wish that for all!!!

There are always players that will missuse the game. They dont do anything formally wrong, morally maybe but it not a huge problem. U should not loose any sleep over it.

It's easy to feed misinformation to a known spy if he thinks he's still undercover. All it takes is to take into account that any information on public country channels will be read and act accordingly. The missions list can be a good source for spying, but it can also serve as a source for false information. Let's think about a mission named "NOE to A50", where the mission information will give the starting point, plane set and loadout. Now, when the mission starts, the leader would give the true directions and other information needed on the Mission channel. Thus the only way to destroy that said mission would be vulching which can easily be avoided by short enough boarding times. Another good way is to use squad channels for planning missions and range in case someone outside the squad would like to join.

I've got an older system by today's standards that still runs the game well by my standards.

I have love for all of you despite contrary beliefs......

But for God's sake lets get over the cybro junk PLEASE

Just let it be. It has never affected me. In the isolated event it effects you just move somewhere else. Its that simple.

Cybro's presence has done more psychologically to Rook nation than anything else.

LET IT BE, ITS LEGAL, OVER COME AND ADAPT :salute

dont you think that just sitting in the tower would make a more effective spy?  either this guy doesnt know what he's doing or he just dont care.

I can be flying and killing while at the same time be giving info to the other side if i wanted to.  so dont you think the idea is well, ridiculous?
