Saw that one too.

The new Kim is turning out to be Caligula reincarnate. The guy who was killed took over as Defence Minister when Kim had his uncle purged and executed.

Dunno, if he was career military the Army may end up having something to say about it. Wake up one morning and Chinese troops have been invited to assist NK with exercises and general administrative duties across the North.

Not good news for anyone methinks.

Couple years ago...

A North Korean army minister was executed with a mortar round for reportedly drinking and carousing during the official mourning period after Kim Jong-il's death.

I am a little sceptical about it, even the article says it not confirmed that it really happen. I'm sure N Korea has executed "enemies to the regime" but the use of a anti aircraft gun... not so convinced about it.
