In spite of the pony logo, the Ford Mustang was actually named after the WWII fighter aircraft of the same name.

Maybe so but why did Ford use wild horses in the commercials and not airplanes?

They could have easily gotten stock footage of 51's but used horses.  I suppose the pinto was named after little Joe's horse....... :devil

Everybody knows that the Pinto was named after the bean since it only rolls downhill.

I'm looking to pick up a 2015 GT Premium with Performance Pack here in the next couple of months. I had my eye on a yellow one at a local dealership but it sold before I could get my finances set (wife is getting a huge promotion so we are waiting for the final offer.)
