Custom under lit LED signs

Have you wanted something unique to have on your desk?? Something that will make it stand out?? Well I can help, I am making custom Squad based under lit LED signs. They are approx 8.5 inches long and 4 inches tall, the exposed part. They are 1/4 inch high quality acrylic . The base is 10.5 inches long and 1.5 inches wide. They have a convenient on/off switch and are powered by 12 volt power supply.

Lights come in Red,Green,Blue,Yellow,Pink,Orange,and Soft or Bright White.







Cost of the standard sign is 42.00 plus shipping. All orders have approx 7-10 days turn around from payment to delivery and you receive a tracking number from the USPS.

The usual file we will need for the squad logo is a vector file, or a black and white graphic.

It come ready to go all you have to do is place the sign in, plug it in and viola, its on.

very cool.

I see these as the trophies for racing league or king of the hill type stuff.. Very cool end product.  :salute

GoodMorning LD, you posted that they are powered by a 12V power supply?

Is that meaning they are running off the PC'S 12v rail or was it a typo and you meant powered by a 120V power supply, since you said you simply plug it in and turn it on?

Or is it a power supply adapter that plugs into a 110/120 AC outlet and converts/steps down to 12V?

Just curious...

Its a power supply that is similar to this.. and yes its a 120volt power supply. Sorry about the typo...

About the power supply: Single leds work with roughly 5 volts (3.6?), so a USB charger could be a viable solution, too. If you're using strips which can be cut after every three leds, they're probably connected in series of 3 which in turn are connected parallel. They apparently work with 12 volts (3x4V).

It appears that USB powered led strips are widely available and be cut after every led.

USB might be a nice solution for someone who doesn't have lots of wall outlets near the desk. It could also be powered by a cell phone charger. Not to mention the USB lighter plug adapters for car use...

Parallel connected strips (5V) should also work with a little less, which means they could be powered by three 1.5V batteries. Shouldn't be a big issue to drill or route a battery compartment for 3 AA/AAA batteries...

They are 24 volt, I tried with the USB power but they did not work.
