I'm more jealous.  I use a twisty stick.

And I've never liked Bino.

My MFG pedals arrived today. I am very pleased with them. Milan does very nice work. :D

During a two-hour online session, my impression is that they are much smoother than my old CH pedals. Also, I seem to have finer control while yawing my guns around on a close-in BUFF, or while getting the ailerons and rudder all crossed up to lose altitude quickly when coming in to land. And I will never have to clean gunk out of sticky, spiking "pots" ever again!

Here's a photo of my MFG pedals next to the CH unit they replace:

bino time to spring clean your computer and under your desk  :D.

Pretty easy to see why your CH pedals are not as smooth. The new ones look like they can survive a very long time under your desk.
If you like the Sick Puppy Custom Sound Pack the please consider contributing for future updates by sending a months dues to Hitech Creations for account "Chalenge." Every little bit helps.

Yes, they do have brakes. The entire pedal rotates around the mounting axis, with a contactless sensor to transmit the position data.

If you are handy with electronics take them apart and douse those pots with Zippo lighter fluid and work them in and out twisting them actually , usually pots don't go bad but instead they get dirty

I noticed that these pedals are easily movable by a hand. Real aircraft rudder pedals require quite high forces  (at least that I have a chance to check). Relatively to the force the legs can apply it looks like the pedals would be oversensitive.

Aren't they?

The sensitivity of pedals compensates the lack of support of a regular computing chair. In a real plane both the pedals and the seat are bolted to the the same frame, allowing you to use more force. Also, the amount of force needed depends of the speed of the plane, which can't be simulated with strings. It's always a compromise between common usability and reality.

My CH pedals work fine, I have had them since 2009 and haven't had any problems. My stick and throttle on the other hand....
