Coral Sea - Ship Killers
« on: June 07, 2015, 03:29:35 PM »
First off, I plan to release the scores (and my spreadsheets) after the last frame is over. So don't ask.   ;)

But as I combed through the raw logs compiling the score for Frame 1, it occurred to me that the web site merely reports that you "Destroyed a ship at base...", but does not specify what type of ship you destroyed.

Sinking a ship in FSO is certainly a team effort. However, here are the folks listed in the logs as having applied the coup de grāce in Frame 1:

ALLIES:

CV - CUTT
DD - GreyGooz

AXIS:

CV - luckie
CA - RedBrd

CV - tunesV
DD - DrDigr1

Shout out to Joker with the 412th FNVG!

Judging from the vox, I believe this is his first kill with a fish.

 :salute

And a  :salute to Bigcat for sending a DD to DBottom!  I was in the tower before he got his kill, so I don't have the film of it.

We really need a blue skin for the B5NTBD

If this picture was black and white with no icons and doctored a bit it would pass as if it were an actual picture taken during the Coral Sea affair. Nice pic :salute

Here are the folks listed in the logs as having applied the coup de grāce in Frame 2:

ALLIES:

CV - Bhawk51
CA - Joker1
DD - Bigcat

CV - AKWxMan
DD - AKTincan

While the Axis did heavy damage in Frame 2, no USN ships were sunk.
