I thought it was the British who attacked Pearl, and then blamed it on the Japs, to get the US to actually fight for British scones and that bitter piss they call beer.

Playful idea.

B-17G might be a bit much for those Axis fighters.

Where are the HE-111s and JU-88A-4 flying from? Surely not from the carriers. Doolittle had China available as a recovery point. I love what-ifs as much as anyone, but this requires too much suspension of disbelief (not to mention suspension of geographical reality). I realize you want to have torpedo capable planes, but Germany had none available that could operate from a CV. Since this is supposed to be a joint venture, why not substitute Kates for the German medium bombers? One of the Allies' greatest fears was that Germany and Japan would actively cooperate, or at least coordinate, offensively.

On another note, a what-if scenario I'd love to see is a 1945/1946 scenario where the Western allies (Britain and USA) going to war with the USSR after Germany's surrender (Patton: "Where gonna have to fight the d@mned Bolsheviks eventually...we might as well do it now, while we've got the army here to do it!"). There were numerous clashes between Russian and Allied forces as the Western and Eastern fronts ended. Any one of them could have resulted in general hostilities. Given Stalin's nature, he might very well of thought it was his only chance to completely "liberate" Europe, before the US completed it's Manhattan Project. He may have thought the West so war weary that they would not have the stomach for a new war, too.

Britain/USA:
B17/B24/B29
Gloster Meteor (sub Me262, or assume German jets captured)
Fighters (Any late war Allied iron)
GVs: any US/Brit vehicles

USSR:
Any USSR fighters/bombers/attack (USSR never retired anything) except I-16 (none left by this time), plus Me262 and Me163 (from over-run factories)
GVs:

I tested the carriers, ju88's and HE111 will take off from carriers. you just have to scooch to the left a little!

Sabre, this looks cool. ill see if I can find a good map for it and we'll try it.

Cobia, I may consider this when the carriers get the BF110C...

tested JU88's, HE111's, and BF110's on carriers. while totally unlikely, you can take off and land on them.
this could turn out to be a really interesting setup.
