One of the big changes I remember hearing about, is if your GPU is so old it does not support Shader2.0 functions. HTC ran a query and a very small set of systems fall into that category. Other aspects of the new engine, such as terrain mesh detail and the like, might cause some rigs to puke due to lack of resources.

It's possible you may need to upgrade some aspects of your rig, but I'd hold off until release, or the new minimum specs are published.
My Current Rig:
GigaByte GA-X99-UD4 Mobo w/ 16Gb RAM
Intel i7 5820k, Win7 64-bit
NVidia GTX 970 4Gb ACX 2.0
Track IR, CH Fighterstick, CH Pro Throttle, CH Pro Pedals

Hmmm... I adjusted the colors in the image HT posted and it appears below.  Look carefully at and around the airplane.  Please commence wild-eyed speculative discussion now... :)

Relating to the speed displayed in the top left hand corner,I would love if we had speed in kph.😭been flying for 6 years using metric and its been a killer using mph, feet I can deal with but mph is a really wierd for me. I wouldn't think it would be 2 hard to have speed in kph and maybe meters for alt,but tat would just be icing on the cake 😊

AH3 will make better use of your videocard's power, so wait till the game is released to buy anything, you might be surprised in a good way

can our pilot, like, have sunglasses? Because that sun is really bright, and staring at that bright sun on the screen could really, like, damage a person's eyes. I mean, seriously.

HiTech

I'm planning on taking a run at it when the new update comes out to see if I can 'fly' it w/o getting headaches and nausea again.

Well, it's obvious you're testing the UTC time setting ( to minimize confusion with daylight savings time we colonists insist on following. )   This would be a screenshot from the Alofi Island map they must be working on. ( UTC - 11 )
