In fact, you might look at the manual for the motherboard and look at the quality vendor's list  so that you know the memory you order has been tested and approved. I should have mentioned that earlier.
If you like the Sick Puppy Custom Sound Pack the please consider contributing for future updates by sending a months dues to Hitech Creations for account "Chalenge." Every little bit helps.

When selecting parts on parts picker, it shows you other builds that used the same parts. Part of my selection process researching these other builds and how they were assembled. im positive everything will fit nicely.

OK, here's the revised build after considering your suggestions

                          http://pcpartpicker.com/p/Kv6Ggs

Changed CPU to:              Intel Core i5-4690K 3.5GHz Quad-Core Processor

Changed CPU cooler to:    Corsair H55 57.0 CFM Liquid CPU Cooler

Changed Pwer supply to:  Corsair RM 750W 80+ Gold Certified Fully-Modular ATX Power Supply

                  Changed memory to:       Corsair Vengeance Pro 16GB (2 x 8GB) DDR3-1866 Memory

Changed hard drive to:     Sandisk Solid State Drive 128GB 2.5" Solid State Drive
Western Digital Caviar Blue 1TB 3.5" 7200RPM Internal Hard Drive

Changed GPU to:             EVGA GeForce GTX 970 4GB FTW+ ACX 2.0+ Video Card

Changed OS to:               Microsoft Windows 7 Home Premium SP1 OEM (64-bit)

Only about $200 over what I wanted to spend, but I can live with that.

Question about memory.. Better to have 2 8GB, or 1 16GB ?   plan to expand in future
