I think as well with everyone I have talk to, is if a player is in a manned gun and or gunner position in bombers , shooting at you,and you take out that gun you should get a recorded kill on that player.

so you want to be able to get 7 kills per b17, since you're killing all the gun positions when you kill the plane?


i'm all for making manned guns count for something but manned gunners dont earn anything currently.. let them earn perks / score then you can think of counting them as kills.

No i just want the one kill on the one guy IF there is a guy other than the pilot on the guns in that plane.

ok so then 2 kills per bomber if someone's riding along.

The guns are set up just fine as they are.  They should be a second choice to planes and GV's and no incentives/penalties need to be added to change their importance in game.

I agree with Waystin.
The gun positions often go unfilled as it is including the killer 88.

If it were changed then the power of each gun would have to be upped.  The old single 37mm is like a P-39.  Hit something and it does the deed but hit something is the hard part.  You are asking a nonmoving target, in an open field, with a single 37mm, to get a killed on the score.  I don't think so.
