strange happening with lock up
« on: August 03, 2015, 05:41:20 AM »

Last night in the MA my computer locked up while playing the game, I stepped away from the keyboard to get a cup of coffee and when I got back I tried to correct my course to go to Joker1 and it was locked, I tried everything I could think of and it would not respond, so I tried to bail out, no go.  I alt tabbed out and came back in still no go.  I altabbed out and tried to just shut down the program from desk top and it had locked up the computer.  I had to turn off the power and power back up to get it unlocked.  I tried to open the game back up and got the message that aces high exe was not a working program, so I deleted the entire program and re installed it and the first time I upped it discoed me but put me back in flight when I reentered the arena.
Then no more problems the rest of the night.

NOW  MY QUESTION:  Has this happened to any of you on here

The first thing that comes into my mind is heat. Check both your processor and video card cooling fins and clean them if they're clogged with dust.

My thoughts as well.

No.   I have already performed the spring dust removal on this computer.
Far too many, if not most, people on this Board post just to say something opposed to posting when they have something to say.
