Teamspeak3 - This was a surprise
« on: September 02, 2015, 09:05:02 AM »
Is anybody familiar with this TeamSpeak3 error -  "TeamSpeak fails to start because it cannot find any port."?

There is not much out there on the web regarding this.  The Teamspeak guys suspect the antivirus guys and firewall guys.  The antivirus guys don't seem to know anything about it.  I am running Avira.

All I know is once it was working fine on my computer setup (with Avira) and now it's a blind sailor that fails to find any port.  I have a trouble ticket started with Avira, but I thought I would ask.

Help?

Fixed.

Adware.

I ran AdwCleaner and Teamspeak3 is now functioning.

WARNING:

There is a malware AdwCleaner out there that will try to ransom your computer.  Be very careful about where you download AdwCleaner from.

Teamspeak has a scrolling message that warns of bad guys advising there is an update on their server or something like that.
