Deadpool a Go
« on: May 06, 2009, 07:46:57 PM »
E! online is confirming that an X-men spinoff movie based on Deadpool is a lock.

Hopefully the fourth wall is going to be turned into a pile of rubble.
Ron White says you can't fix stupid. I beg to differ. Stupid will usually sort itself out, it's just a matter of making sure you're not close enough to become collateral damage.

I haven't been able to stop watching since it went up last night. Blind Al may have had the single best line in the whole trailer.

They director implied that Cable will be appearing in Deadpool 2. Or at least stated that they HAVE to include Cable otherwise the fans will crucify them.

If that's true, I wonder if we could be building to an X-Force movie (I know there's been rumors that X-Force is one of the projects coming down the pipe); We have Wade, Psylocke, Archangel, and you could go Warpath, which means Cable would be the only missing piece aside from a possible recast Wolverine with Jackman retiring from the franchise (although  I'd rather they introduce X-23 to the films, especially since she's going to be the new Wolverine in the books once the Secret Wars nonsense is over).

They also need to bash X-Men Origins, comment on Colossus's actor change, and note the fact that the guy who recruits him played Malthazar in Galaxy Quest.
