combat trim for rudders and ailerons only
« on: July 27, 2015, 08:32:33 PM »
From the too many buttons to keep track of department. It would be nice if there were the option to have manual elevator trim while still having combat trim adjust the elevators and rudders if so equipted.
Pies not kicks.

I use auto angle and auto level, I know of this combat trim but what exactly is its function, what does it accomplish.
Whether you think you can or cannot, you are right!

Combat trim changes your trim as your speed changes. What you need to know is that it's not as accurate as auto angle/level and it ignores flaps.

You can turn it on and off in flight so it's easy to test and you can turn it off when you use flaps so that's a limited problem.

Thank you sir, I would imagine it not of much use in combat, especially if one is use to the other auto modes and manual trim..........

Does the p38 still auto adjust when there is damage? Flaps getting stuck out etc.,

I use a 3 axis throttle controller for manual trim. I added AH type trim indicator scales.

My ammo last for 6 Lancasters, or one Yak3.
