I am SO getting this kit!

Review of the new Tamiya 1:32 Mossie (what else...)

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4dw4yr4d5sU

First kit I built in 35 years was the 1:48 Mossie FB from Tamiya, this one looks even better, though I sure as heck am not going to build the fiddly bits of the engine interior and the (horror!) landing gear. Guess I'll have to find a stand and wait for some aftermarket prop blurs.

Also good to see some Polish markings provided - been a big gap IMHO. The Poles had two squadrons of Mossies, one FB and one NF, flew with distinction to the end of the war.

Yay.
... missions were to be met by the commitment of alerted swarms of fighters, composed of Me 109's and Fw 190's, that were strategically based to protect industrial installations. The inferior capabilities of these fighters against the Mosquitoes made this a hopeless and uneconomical effort. 1.JD KTB

Lovely kit. With retirement looming Im starting to want to get back into modeling. I have a friend who just did an awesome diorama of a German town recently over ran but before I took on something like that I'd like to do some aircrafts first.
