Considering it's been that way from day one, you'd think if HTC had a problem with it they might've changed it by now.  Maybe not 'intended' per se, but obviously not considered an issue.

Wiley.

Much like a number of other issues that haven't been or took a long time to address. As it isn't a huge issue, it is laying on the "back burner" until they could get around to it. HTC is notorious for not commenting on things in these threads. All we can do is speculate until they do.

The point is if it is labeled that way wouldn't you think the original idea was for those objects to be bombed? Goons are the same. Im sure the original idea was to drop troops from the air like the paratroopers they look like, they even yell "Geronimo" when they jump, but players found that those guys were easy to kill in the air with no chance of getting hurt by them. So someone figured out that you could land them close to the town and let them run from there. Much harder to see, Harder to hit, and there is that issue of hitting the ground and/or trees.

Is it a major issue? No, but it is a bastardized version of the original idea. Thats what some of these other "tricks" are. I think it takes away from the game a bit. Add in more and more and your doing away with all kinds of things in the game. Eventually they won't use bombers for anything because they take to long. Already it is rare to see buff groups in formation at 20k carpet bombing a town. 3 guys in a good formation could flatten a town in a single pass from up there with out being bothered.... unless Zoney is around  :devil But it is a "play of the past" now, like GV battles (not the spawn camping crap we have now that they call GV battles, but the stuff the LTARS use to generate), and fighter caps and battles for bases that last all night.

People keep whittling away at the game because that can't be bothered to learn to do it the way it was meant to be.
