« on: September 22, 2015, 12:52:36 PM »

The keyboard could be worth more than everything else combined.

Good idea save, hadn't though about that, any particular flavor of linux for that function?

Meatwad that is teh Bios screen on boot up showing, think it is American Megatrends BIOS I would have to confirm to be sure.

EDIT : yes it is American megatrends BIOS, I can see it in the photo and that keyboard Chalenge is excellent " mechanical " good feel to it, although it has the old large round connector on it, I need a large connector style <- what ever that is called to USB adapter.

PS/2 to USB. I still use the old IBM "clicky keyboard" (model M) myself. You can find the adaptor on Amazon.

It's more likely an AT/XT connector, but there's USB adapters for those, too.

I've got an older system by today's standards that still runs the game well by my standards.

Firewall, file server, HTPC and deep storage are a few uses for old PC's although they may require some modifications depending on what's there and it's intended role.  Regardless, none of those take much computing power.
I edit a lot of my posts.  Get used to it.

You're right, since he said "large" round connector. My mistake.

I tend to be. Except for when I'm wrong...  What, frankly, I quite often am... :salute
