Welcome to the alpha Patch 77. This was built and released on October 2, 2015.
Test goals:------------------
Terrain Editor
Object Editor
Create a terrain with the europe terrain set , then unzip the following into your new terrain folder.
terrset00.zipRestart the terrain editor, You should now see funny colored terrain.
Run the object editor, choose one of the bmp's by select (open terrain tile) in ah3terr/YourTerrain/terrset00/texsrc
Not choose the base name only bmp, not a bmp with an _ in the name.
You should be able to add trees or clutter buildings to your tile. Save the tile. run the editor and check if the tree/building now appear.
Create roads and rivers in the Terrain Editor.
Add one airfield to the terrain and build it.
Now go into the game, select the terrain and make sure it is as it should be with your tree objects.
Corrections/Updates:---------------------------
Action: Fixed the UPD switching issue, when changing arenas.
Action: Fixed the Terrain Editor problem with the "Save Texture" button, with nothing selected, popping up a message box behind the Terrain Editor.
Action: Added shadow fading with alt, and faded Z buffer with cloud sprites.
Action: Added some tool tips to the Terrain Editor elevation panel.
Action: Fixed an issue with the Object Editor, when selecting tile .bmp
Action: When deleting the last mission from the mission schedule, the display is now updated.
Action: Fixed a bug with ahupload.exe causing a crash when plane configuration was included.
Action: Started work on roads and rivers in the Terrain Editor. You can now add them to see how it will work, but they will not display in game, and still need work.
The displays are just place holders for the final shapes.
Action: The sorting issue with cloud layer and clouds should be fixed, NOTE: A cloud Layer cannot be below 3D clouds.
Action: Fixed an issue where multiple layers of 3D clouds, in the same place, could cause a CTD.
Action: The default "groups" folder for the Terrain Editor are now included in the release.
Additional Information:
Use the ".psave filename" command to save your position in the terrain/world. If you do not provide a file name, then file will be saved as "cmepos.txt" in the "settings" folder. Thank you!
