mother board
« on: November 02, 2015, 07:34:56 AM »
What do you think of the main z97 main board? I can't post a link from my phone.  I'm going to add an I5 couple.

I really need a good hard drive too and power supply.  Any suggestions would be appreciated.

My wife uses my old Asus Z97 Pro with an i5 (don't recall which one) and a 980 Ti, Seasonic X650, and the WD RE 4 2TB HDD times 3 (in addition to the M.2 PCIe SDD boot). Zero issues.

I have the i5-4690K CPU + MSI Gaming 3 motherboard which is very similar to the Gaming 5.

This combo runs very well for me. There are some good reviews of the MSI Gaming series on youtube.

It has some great specifications and the same M.2 capabilities. I don't see a problem.

Thanks everyone!

I got my current rig working well. So now I'm holding off. I would have pulled the plug yesterday if I'd received input sooner.

Thanks again!
