As I said in a different post, I've simply been in denial ...

Chuck (Heeler) was a kind, relatively unassuming, calm, and gentle player who always made me feel as though it was a special day just because I had managed to show up to play (and I wasn't even a member of his squad)...

A true credit to his approach to the game...and I guessing to how he chose to play out his life.

Many of us could learn from that.

I'll miss you (already do),

Wow, I'm just now reading this post.. I'm so sorry to hear about Heeler wow. Heeler's squad the Outcast was the first squad I ever joined some 15 yrs ago, Charles was a great guy, always friendly and helpful to others. This saddens me to no end.... My prayers go out to his family in this trying time. Heeler will be missed terribly.  Wow, I'm still in shock!  Go with God Heeler!

I saw reference to HEELER's passing in another thread, did a search and found this for confirmation. HEELER was one of the first real friends I gained from this game. While playing "cartoon airplanes" has no real weight in life, the friends we gain as a result does. The Dig Bicks was the first squad that took me in and HEELER and I hit it off from the start.  I had many many fun nights flying with him. He sent me a recipe for his Oreo balls that my wife and I tried and loved them. Life got in the way of the game for a while and when I returned he wasn't around. He came back and we had some good talks on in-game PM to catch up. I was always glad to hear him in game and know he was there. I'll miss him and knowing I won't be able to talk to him again, fly with him or hear his voice will be a part of AH I will miss.

If anyone can PM me the details of his accident, I would appreciate it. HEELER was a great man. I'd like to know the details of his end for closure.

In memorial: <S> HEELER. I enjoyed you for who you were. As long as I'm alive, you will be remembered.
