De facto Republic, yea and verily... but what a pain in the prettythang he must've been, especially after banishing Chuckles II. We've still got problems elated to Puritan influence here - mostly coming from the old money Northeasterners.
Now, Chuckles II, otoh, comes highly recommended: kicking well-deserving Dutch boo-tay, the Declaration of Indulgence, the Restoration, no heirs, but TWELVE (count 'em) TWELVE bastard children. That's a lotta bastards - one for each month of the year. Just think, Zack, you could be royally related to one o' dose bastard kids.
