Would you recommend this optional update?

There's been a lot of talk about certain Windows updates that can't be recommended. As I've often said, my method of only installing the critical ones has saved me from those without extra effort whatsoever.

For some odd reason I took a look to the list of the optional updates and found this one: https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/kb/2670838.

My simple and humble question is, would that improve performance concerning AH?

I have it installed on all my Windows 7 systems.  Does not seem to help any games I am aware of.  Does not seem to hurt either.

Thanks, I took the risk too. I wonder if the improved performance announced in the support info is measurable by any means...
