This winter-camouflaged s.Pz..Jg Abt 559 Jagdpanther was captured by American troops during the Germans' ill-fated Ardennes offensive. It was transported back to the USA for examination and later became an exhibit at the Army Ordnance Museum at the Aberdeen Proving Ground.
