Excellent escort last night gents. We got to rearm and make a second run in stukas because of your efforts. I can't recall any previous time stukas were able to do that.  :salute
The real problem is anyone should feel like they can come to this forum and make a wish without being treated in a derogatory manner.  The only discussion should be centered around whether it would work, or how it would work and so on always in a respectful manner.

We enjoyed ourselves on the escort.  Worked out some frustration from chasing Bostons.  Funny, those two Yaks over 154 didn't want to fight 10 on 1?  Go figure?

Those Boston pilots mush have crapped themselves when they ran into Jg 11 while running from LTG. Talk about hammer and anvil!

Nope! :D  Me and Droptine engaged the single, I've seen the bait plane routine done many times from JG11.  So I was being very tentative about giving up too much alt while looking around for his high friends to show up.  Was getting ready to make a second drop on that 109 and I caught about 10 dots coming in from the west co-alt.  I told Drop to break south NOW! which he did  :bolt: .  He figured out why about 5 seconds later as the icons showed up.  Those Stukas were supposed to come back un-escorted, I think it was in the writeup like that or I just read it wrong. :headscratch:   By the way who volunteered for the bait plane?

This makes 2 weeks in a row VF-17 has pretty much had our tails handed to us.  The last time I survived a sortie I was in a B-25.  Embarrassing  :bhead
