Gosh, I can't believe all the "experienced" players I see in here, just can't seem to land what ever aircraft they are flying!
Example: Yesterday, I watched a 262 land at a small field, or attempt to anyway! He had to be doing 200 when he crossed the fence at the end of the runway, touched down about 3/4's of the way down runway, started "fish" tailing back and forth trying to slow down, finally ran off the runway, close to the end and was in grass and he closed out from there!
Perk points had to fly out the window, because all he would have gotten was a "ditch"! You have to be on concrete in order to get a successful landing message and credit for damage or kills!
The 262 will fly very nicely at 120MPH IAS, so if you are going to fly one, you need to get some altitude and practice "slow" flying the thing, its not that hard! Do it, the practice with full flaps down and gear down. Use 10,000 feet AGL as the ground and practice descending to that altitude and then, practice a go around by first, apply full throttle, raising the gear and then "milk" the flaps all the way up. That way, if you ever need to "abort" a landing, you will have some knowledge of how it handles!
