I don't understand why people in the MA get angry when other people don't want to be apart of missions.
Play the game and join the squads that want to capture bases, or play in tanks, or furball, or whatever. The MA is a unorganized war. You have to make of it as you will and do the things in game that you want to do.

Kriskros, if you want organized war missions, join the FSO or organized scenarios in the Special Events. There are other parts to AH that allow for much more structured and organized war missions that you will have fun in.

Coming here and throwing your stick down and complaning on the boards about how each team handles the war game, while there is no real team coridination to begin with in the MA, or nothing HTC can even do about it, is childish and is nothing but attention seeking.

It's funny how perceptions differ.  Lot's of times it has seemed that Knits and Bish are attacking Rooks and (mostly) leaving each other alone.  Not saying it is always the case.  Maybe different maps or times-of-day create different dynamics.

When Rooks are (seemingly) being ganged, I just find a the best fight available at the time and don't worry about winning the "war".  Less frustration and more fun.

YMMV.

I know what you mean-I usally don't join missions and see people whine about others not joining.

Defending the factories is interesting on Fester map. There is no radar indication that there is a bomber anywhere near the factories, and then the factory is suddenly flashing. When you get there the bombers are very high. Add to that the fact that you never know if the attack is NOE, or stratospheric and it becomes difficult, but not impossible. There are still bomb-and-bailers, but out of all the encounters I had this last week that only happened once to me.

And there are plenty of people defending the factories, which is where the other stories of bomb-and-bailers comes from.

The problem, as I see it, is that if HQ goes down there will be three to six guys that resupply it. Usually two guys will resupply the factories, and maybe one guy for the city. Meanwhile, the factories are more important than HQ. Typical.

I didn't feel pinned back when I blasted your city down to 0% without seeing a single defender and a furball just one sector away.

And it was your countryman that bailed when I got within 3k of his lancs.

KrisKros, for the first time since I started to fly in the MA, I have left the knights, for exactly the reason you stated. It has gotten so bad that I couldn't take it any more, and have joined the rooks. It's a shame, but frankly, when i ask on country why won't you hit the rooks, and win the map, the reply was "because we hate the bish". Really sad, and absolutely detrimental to the overall game.

I understand the sentiment to a point. I have myself contemplated unsubscribing a few times for similar yet different reasons. The last few times i logged on, its either been Compello or Fester maps, each time I pretty much immediately logged off. My interest in AH had waned to the point in which I do not like to tool around on maps that the current population cannot sustain. In fact, the only maps I actually really enjoy are, Pizza, Crater, Mindinao, Canyon, and that one with the tank town that no one uses. Sadly those particular maps are generally reset quickly. Although I do not tend to up either low eny AC or GV's, I find the entire concept of eny to be a complete and abject failure. I decided to log on briefly a few days back, I checked the country status as I usually do and noticed an eny of 17. No biggie, I use 18, 23, and 30 eny AC, so no big deal to me. Then I panned around the map "Festering Wound map" and noticed that country A, and County B, had not one base flashing between the two, instead country A and country B were both attacking country C (eny 17). Alright, this is typical, most times one country is getting ganged by the other two, and I am not singling out a specific country either. But here lies the point, Country C which has the most players hence eny of 17, was being ganged and ultimately out numbered. It seems to me that the only way the eny concept holds any merit is if an equal percentage of each specific country fights the other two, which is an uncommon occurrence. All in all I will say there are two reasons why I still have a subscription, one being $15 is not a large expense, and second is that for whatever reason my wife bought me a nice rig for Christmas and i feel somewhat compelled to attempt to use it

Are you quitting your shade too?  AHHAA... just kidding.

Kriskros, I think there's a slight possibility that the Bish bring this on themselves.  Now, I'm not saying it's absolutely all the time, but I believe there is some merit to my theory.  Bish have a few folks that, well.... you can count on them rallying up a little horde, or a big horde (whatever) and making runs at undefended bases.  Then, as soon as a couple of defenders show up, they will without fail leave, and go find ANOTHER undefended base to attack.  If there's anything more dam annoying, I don't know what it is.  Bomb'n-Bailers too... Bish seem to breed them.  But anyway, Bish do this constantly.  They also have what SEEMS to a guy flying for another country, and entire segment of their population who do nothing but resupply bases.  What I'm saying is, Bish kinda have these characteristics that draw the attention of the opposition.  Whack-a-Mole(Bish) is IMO WHY you guys end up getting ganged.  The Knits in general seem to pursue the (Nick Nolte voice) Full-Frontal-Assault (/Nick Nolte Voice) method, but they also have an inordinate amount of Tools-in-Jets and Stratospheric alt-monkeys, fighting them is actually not as fun... and Whack-a-Mole presents much less opportunity of being picked by a Tool.  I don't know what corny characteristics Rooks have, cause I've always been one.  Well, besides not giving a crap if we're losing bases AND a definite affinity for screwing up a base take.  We have those for sure.

But back to your gripe.  C'mon man, taking your ball and stomping off isn't exactly going to solve anything.  Oh, you might save MAYBE $30... but ya, you'll be back.  I've been around since the very beginning, and besides lower-than-awhile-back numbers, nothing has really changed.  It's the Bish turn in the bucket.  It'll roll back around to Rook, and Knit... I never heard you griping when it was happening to Rooks.

You provide some pretty cool game-play KK... pull your britches up and get back in there.

An entire week of fighting 2 countries, who won't fight each other is getting old, so I wish you all farewell after this weekend is up.

I even tried switching to nits this week to try and invoke a rook/nit fight.
Porked AA to 0%, white-flagged a town and 2 v-bases, but could not get a single nit to assist in taking a rook field.
"We're not fighting rooks" was the nit reply.

AH unresponsive to requests to scrub/repair maps with undefendable strats.
AH unresponsive to bringing back a map everyone liked.

Good bye.

WOW!! KrisKros, you and the bish act like your entitled brats. you guys constantly gang the lowest number team, constantly. you guys always have numbers. you guys are always part of the 2v1 crap and yet here you are complaining when you get exactly what you constantly give. but its ok and just fine when youre dishing it out. wow

This is getting real old, real fast. This game has turned to junk and is not improving. 2 countries attack 1 country ruining gameplay for 1/3 of the player base. HTC gives 0% care about it. The only recourse is to quit funding this trainwreck.
you guys do this constantly, yet we never hear any complaints from you when you do this exact same thing. why is that?

That is because you do everything possible to tailor your overall game experience so you are not opposed.  That is not what some people are here for.
